چکیده

The cassiterite–sulfide mineralization occurs within quartz veins and greisenized Precambrian Older Granite around the Gindi Akwati region at Ropp complex’s western boundary, north-central Nigeria. intrusion of Jurassic Younger granite porphyry sheared marginal parts mylonitized zone created pathways for fluids that escaped during late-stage consolidation biotite granite. granites are highly differentiated (K/Rb < 200), peraluminous (A/CNK > 1), high-K, have high Sn concentrations (average = 117 ppm). forced interaction with ore-bearing fluid from under low oxygen fugacity or below NNO buffer. above fluid–rock caused mass changes in host greisenization redistributed ores vicinity shears. This suggests chloride ions take form significant complex-forming ligands efficiently sequestrate, transport, deposit ore metals (Sn, Zn, Fe, Cu) locally veins. redox potential probably gave a false impression metal zoning relatively higher abundance oxide than sulfides surface. alteration mineralogy (quartz-, topaz-, lepidolite-, fluorite-bearing assemblages) coupled S isotope inclusion systematic data hydrothermal history “greisens” started hot (homogenization temperature ≥300 °C), to moderate salinity 4.08 wt. % NaCl), density (≤0.6 g/cm3) ≥ 200 bar trapping pressure. sulfide isotopic composition (δ34SV-CDT −1.30 + 0.87 ‰) is very similar typical magmatic fluids, indicating late-magmatic early post-magmatic models related anorogenic intrusions.

Investigation of mineralization and fluid inclusions of the Lapeh-Zanak copper deposit, Central Alborz zone, Iran

The Lapeh-Zanak copper deposit is located about 15 km east of Tehran, in the southern part of the Central Alborz Zone. The rock units exposed in this area include a sequence of volcanic and pyroclastic rocks (basalt, andesite, trachy-andesite and dacitic and vitric tuff) belonging to the Fajan Formation with the Paleocene-Lower Eocene age, which are cut by subvolcanic igneous masses with a comp...

The Muteh gold deposit (NE of Golpaygan) in the central part of intrusive-metamorphic belt of Sanandaj-Sirjan zone comprises NW-SE trending gold-quartz vein occurred in metamorphic complex. Gold mineralization is associated with quartz veins that formed during regional deformation across the mylonitic zones in metamorphic rocks of predominantly meta-volcanic, gneiss and schist. The sulfidation ...

Epithermal Gold and Base Metal Mineralization at Gandy Deposit, North of Central Iran and the Role of Rhyolitic Intrusions

The Gandy gold-base metal deposit is located in Tertiary Torud-Chahshirin volcano-plutonic range, north of Central Iran. Various styles of gold mineralization occur throughout the range. Mineralization at Gandy occurs in close spatial relation with rhyolitic domes in a caldera setting in a series of narrow brecciated veins. Two mineralogically and spatially different argillic alterations have a...

Mineralogy and fluid inclusion investigations in the Zarshuran gold deposit, north of Takab, NW Iran

The Zarshuran Carlin-type gold deposit is located about 30 km north of Takab, West-Azarbaidjan Province, NW Iran. Interaction between the ore-forming fluids and the host carbonates and shales resulted in development of the decarbonatization, argillic, alunite, silicic, and sulfide alteration zones in the study area. Based on mesoscopic and microscopic studies on drill core samples, gold mineral...
